Event details

2020 WNY Invention Convention & Award Ceremony is an Online Event

Due to the unusual times we are experiencing, we’ve chosen to hold our event online- we want to showcase the effort of as many inventors as we can. Instead of presenting their inventions in person, our inventors will present their process and prototype in a 4-6 minute video. This video will be judged online by professionals in STEM fields from all over WNY. Our Judges are honored to be a part of this event, as they believe deeply in supporting inventors of all ages!

WNY Invention Convention and Goodwill Industries are happy to announce that young inventors can submit their inventions to the Original category or submit a re-purposed product for our Re-Invent challenge. Each school or program can submit up to 15 Inventions total.*

*For 2020, schools are not required to have an invention event before the student inventions are submitted and invention submissions are not limited to 15.
